UP Constable Exam 2024: Board formed investigation committee in paper leak case, know what is the whole matter


The board has constituted an inquiry committee in the paper leak case of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination. There is anger among the youth over the news of UP Police recruitment paper leak on social media. Although the board had earlier termed these news of paper leak as fake, but now it will be investigated so that the truth can come out. Let us know what the recruitment board has to say.

The chairperson of the recruitment board said this

Recruitment Board Chairperson Renuka Mishra, in a phone conversation with Aaj Tak, said that in view of the problems being reported by the candidates on social media, an internal committee has been constituted by the board. He further said that investigation will be done by the candidates regarding the viral question paper and answer sheet on social media. We also have all the viral things, the questions which have gone viral, how many have appeared in the question paper and whether they have gone viral before, after or during the examination, these are also being investigated. Renuka said that we are investigating all the facts. There is a question about the future of 48 lakh children, we will not allow injustice to anyone, but it is necessary to investigate the facts being told on social media.

Debate broke out on social media

On the day of UP Police Recruitment Examination, it was claimed on social media that the paper had been leaked. After the debate on Twitter, the Commission has come into action on the fake news of paper leak. On the last day of the examination, 93 persons have been arrested in connection with the paper leak case. A total of 287 arrests have been made since February 15 as part of a concerted campaign launched by the district police and STF to prevent cheating and target examinees, solvers, solver gang members and persons accused of paper leaks.

Police arrested so many people

Apart from this, 122 such fraudulent candidates and solver gang members were caught on the first day of the examination. Of these, 96 people were caught during the examination, while the Special Task Force (UP STF) of UP Police has caught 18 fraudsters from different places. Maximum 15 thugs each were caught from Etah and Prayagraj Commissionerate. Apart from this, 9 people each from Mau, Siddharthnagar and Prayagraj, 8 from Ghazipur and 7 from Azamgarh have been arrested.
