UGC NET Exam 2024: The exam will be held between June 10 and 21.
According to the information released earlier, the UGC NET June session examination will be conducted from June 10 to 21, 2024. For the convenience of the candidates, easy steps are given below, by following which the candidates can easily fill their examination form. Just students should keep in mind that the form will be accepted only when the letter is filled properly.
Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2024
Candidates having Master's degree or its equivalent degree from a recognized university/college will be eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for JRF should not be more than 30 years of age as on the 1st day of the month.
There will be age relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates i.e. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/Third Gender.
There will be no age limit criteria for Assistant Professor.
Candidates must have obtained at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/Third Gender) in their qualifying examination.
Final year candidates or whose result is still awaited will also be eligible to apply.
Application fee for UGC NET June 2024
UGC NET application fee varies for different categories:-
A fee of ₹ 1150 has been fixed for general and unreserved categories.
A fee of ₹600 will be charged from EWS OBC.
SC, ST, PWD and third gender will be charged a fee of ₹325.
Candidates have to pay this fee through online mode.

Now register using the required credentials like email ID and mobile number.
Now fill the application form with all the details.
Upload the required documents and pay the application fee as per category.
Review the application form and 'Submit'.
Now download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of it for future reference.
