Combined Defense Services (CDS) exam is organized every year by UPSC. Now the application process has been started by the Union Public Service Commission by issuing the notification for UPSC CDS 1 2024. Candidates who are preparing for this examination and want to participate in it can fill the application form from today.
The application form can be filled only through online mode by visiting the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in. Apart from this, you can also fill the application form from the link given here. The application form can be filled till the scheduled last date of 9 January 2024.
CDS 1 2024: How to Apply
To participate in this recruitment, candidates will have to first go to the official website and fill One Time Registration (OTR).
After registration, candidates can complete the application process by entering the required details.
Along with filling the application form, candidates will also have to deposit the prescribed fee, only then your form will be accepted.
General and OBC category candidates will have to pay Rs 200 as application fee. Application fee can be deposited through debit card, credit card, net banking, e-challan. Candidates coming from SC and ST category can apply for free to join this recruitment.

A total of 457 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment. Post wise recruitment details are as follows-
Indian Military Academy (IMA): 100 posts
Indian Naval Academy (INA): 32 posts
Airforce: 32 posts
Officer Training Academy (OTA): 275 posts
OTA Women: 18 Posts

UPSC CDS 1 2024: Who can apply
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have done graduation/graduation in engineering or should be studying in graduation. Along with this, the candidate should not have been born before January 2, 2001 and after January 1, 2006. For detailed information about eligibility and criteria, candidates must read the official notification once.
