Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for this year's edition of the examination conducted every year for direct recruitment to the declared vacancies of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and various Central Armed Forces (CAPFs). According to the SI Exam (SSC SI Exam 2024) notification released by the Commission on Monday, March 4, a total of 4187 sub-inspectors are to be recruited in Delhi Police and CAPFs. These CAPFs include BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB.
SSC SI Exam 2024: Application process started
With the release of the notification by SSC for the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination (SSC SI Exam 2024) for Delhi Police and CAPFs, the application process has also been started. Candidates possessing the prescribed qualifications can submit their applications till the declared last date 28 March 2024. To apply, candidates should visit the official website of the Commission, ssc.gov.in. The application fee is Rs 100, which has to be paid at the time of application itself.

SSC SI Exam 2024: Know the eligibility before applying
However, before applying for the Sub-Inspector examination of Staff Selection Commission, candidates should know the prescribed eligibility criteria. According to the notification issued by SSC, to apply, candidates should be graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and age should not be less than 20 years and not more than 25 years as on August 1, 2024. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are to be given maximum age relaxation as per Central Government rules.
