CUET-UG SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE: There is a definite news for the applicants of CUET UG. Actually, due to Lok Sabha elections, there is a possibility that the dates of CUET-UG examination may have to be changed. According to UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar, the schedule of Common University Entrance Test-UG can be changed depending on the Lok Sabha election schedule.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced the dates of CUET-UG 2024 exam last Tuesday. CUET-UG 2024 is scheduled to be conducted from May 15 to 31 and the result is scheduled to be released on June 30. On the other hand, the Election Commission is preparing for the Lok Sabha elections. There is a possibility that the schedule for Lok Sabha elections may be released this month.
University Grants Commission (UGC) chief Kumar has said, "The dates announced by NTA are tentative. After the election dates are announced, NTA will finalize the dates of CUET-UG. Tentatively, the exam is proposed to be held from May 15. " The application process for CUET-UG started on Tuesday and will end on March 26.
NTA has announced that the exam will be conducted in hybrid mode – computer-based test for some subjects and pen-and-paper mode for others.
Officials had said that for subjects with higher number of registrations, the exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) format. For others the examination will be conducted in computer based mode.
CUET UG 2024 Exam New Schedule Soon: Common University Entrance Test UG (CUET UG) 2024 exam for admission to undergraduate courses (UG Admission) 2024 is scheduled from May 15 to May 31. But National Testing Agency (NTA) can now change the exam dates of CUET UG and release a new exam schedule. UGC Chairman Jagadish Kumar Mamidala (M. Jagadesh Kumar) has informed about this.
As per the schedule released by NTA, CUET (UG) 2024 exam will be conducted from May 15 to May 31, 2024. Applicants will be given a chance to edit and make corrections in their application forms in the last week of March. The admit card of the entrance exam (CUET UG Admit Card 2024) will be released on 30 April 2024 on the official website only. The entrance exam will be conducted in 13 different languages and the result (CUET UG Result) can be released by June 30, 2024. But now this schedule can be changed.
Why change in CUET UG 2024 schedule?
Actually, India is preparing for the general elections for the election of its 18th Lok Sabha, the schedule of which is likely to be announced this month. In view of this, changes can be made in the CUET UG exam schedule.
