UP Police Paper Leak 2024: Candidates demonstrated on Lucknow Ayodhya Highway in Barabanki in connection with the alleged UP Police Paper Leak 2024 of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination. Hundreds of candidates, holding posters demanding cancellation of the examination, raised slogans and created a ruckus at the main Petel intersection of the city. Seeing the increasing commotion of the crowd gathered without any information, the police officers had to call the intersection police and PAC. However, after an hour of assurance, all the candidates moved away from there.
It was held in Uttar Pradesh on 17 and 18 February 2024. There is an uproar regarding the police recruitment examination. There was an uproar for about an hour on Tuesday over the allegedly leaked viral question paper of Uttar Pradesh Police exam on social networks. Hundreds of candidates reached Patel Tiraha of Lucknow Ayodhya Highway coming out of the city in Nagar Kotwali area, holding placards in their hands and remained adamant on the demand of canceling the UPP recruitment examination. After the information, CO City Binu Singh Kotwali Inspector Ajay Tripathi reached the spot and kept trying to convince the candidates.
UP Police Paper Leak 2024: Will protest till Delhi and PM residence
The candidates, who were raising slogans and creating ruckus, said that the UPP was over. The exam should be canceled and conducted again, because even before the exam the 'answer key' had come in the market and had gone viral on social media. Candidate Avinash Kumar told that 48 lakh candidates who appeared in the examination have been played with. Therefore, this examination should be canceled and conducted again. Candidates involved in the protest, Shani Bharti, Vikas Verma and Rishabh from Masauli area, said that the government had organized the examination after five years. Due to this, our 24 hours of study and hard work went waste. The administration should take strict action against the culprits and demand re-examination from the government. The protesting candidates said that if the examination is not cancelled, they will protest till the CM and PM residence in Delhi.
UP Police Paper Leak 2024: Commotion Without Any Notice
The coaching institutes of the city supported the candidates on their demand to cancel the examination. In this, without any information to the administration, hundreds of candidates came to protest on the highway. Seeing the increasing uproar by the candidates, the police officers called PAC personnel. CO City Binu Singh said that suddenly information was received that some students were going to protest and submit a memorandum. Students fear that the papers of the police recruitment examination which has just been held have been leaked. There are preparations for a big protest on this matter. The CO said that after taking the memorandum and giving assurance, all the candidates have returned.
