UP Police Paper Leak: 'Questions were leaked in a planned manner...', UP Police admitted in government document


Recently, UP Police Recruitment Exam was held in UP. During this examination which lasted for two days, the police caught many solver gangs. But after the exam, news of paper leak, photos etc. went viral on social media. Expressing concern over this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi fiercely attacked the Yogi Adityanath government of UP. Now UP Police has sought evidence to investigate such allegations. People have been asked to send it through mail by 6 pm on Friday. 

Questions are being raised regarding constable recruitment examination in Uttar Pradesh. On one hand, the examination board is not officially accepting the news of UP Police Paper Leak. On the other hand, many such evidences are emerging which are raising questions on the claims of the examination board. The police itself had registered an FIR on February 18 at Krishna Nagar police station in Lucknow. In this, the plaintiff Inspector Rambabu Singh admitted in the government document that the question paper was leaked in an organized manner, which comes under the category of crime.

According to the FIR registered, a youth named Satya Aman Kumar was giving paper in the second shift in the police recruitment examination. In this, a pamphlet was found from him, which revealed that he was cheating. When the paper was looked at, it was found that the questions and answers written in his hand were matching with the original question paper.

When he was asked strictly, he said, my friend had Whatsapp this question paper with answers at 12.56 pm. He said that this is today's question paper. Demanded money on his behalf. When the accused's phone was taken out by the police, it was seen that a handwritten paper was present in it. Its questions and answers were matching with the questions received in the slip.

UP Police Paper Leak: Candidates sent many evidences to AUF TIMES on paper leak case

An inquiry committee has been formed by the Recruitment Board on the paper leak issue in the UP Police Recruitment Examination. Board chairperson Renuka Mishra, in a phone conversation with Aaj Tak, said that in view of the problems being reported by the candidates on social media, an internal inquiry committee has been constituted by the board.


60 thousand posts, 48 lakh candidates

For the recruitment of 60,244 police constable posts in UP Police, the examination was conducted on 17 and 18 February at 2,385 centers in all 75 districts of the state. Strict security arrangements were made by the UP government for this examination which was held in two shifts on Saturday and Sunday. A total of 48,17,441 candidates had applied for this examination, which included 15,48,969 women candidates.

On February 17, the examination was held from 10 am to 12 noon. After this, it happened from 3 to 5 pm on the same day. Similarly, on February 18, the exam was held from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3 to 5 pm in the afternoon. There were 150 questions in it. Many sets of question papers were made. In such a situation, many questions have now arisen.
