RRB Recruitment 2024: There is big news for the candidates dreaming of becoming Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) in Railways. Recruitment is going on for 5996 vacant posts of ALP by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The last date to apply for this recruitment has been fixed as 19 February 2024. Application forms can be filled through online mode by visiting the official website of Indian Railways indianrailways.gov.in . Candidates should keep in mind that they will not be able to fill the form for this recruitment after tomorrow.
Eligibility and Criteria -
To apply for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, candidates must have passed ITI/ Diploma etc. in the relevant field/ discipline. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 30 years. Candidates coming from reserved category will be given relaxation in upper age limit. Age will be calculated keeping in mind the date of 1st July 2024.
Application Fees -
In this recruitment, along with filling the application form, the candidates will also have to deposit the prescribed fee. Filled application fee forms will not be accepted. Application Fees have been fixed at Rs 500 for General and OBC categories, whereas SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PWBD/ Women/ Third Gender categories will have to pay Rs 250 as fees.
Selection Process-
The applying candidates will have to go through Stage 1 Computer Based Test (CBT), Stage 2 Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). Candidates who are successful in these stages of examination will be invited for document verification and medical examination. Candidates who are successful in all the stages will be posted on the vacant posts.
