BPSC Recruitment 2024: If you are dreaming of becoming a teacher in school or inter college, then this can be a great opportunity for you. Because, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). According to the notification, the application process has started from today i.e. 10 February 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the department. The application process is completely online. Therefore, candidates are advised not to apply offline or through any other means. Such applications will not be accepted. The last date to apply has been kept as 23 February 2024. Other information related to the application is given below.
Educational Qualification
For Primary School Teacher (1st to 5th class), the candidate must have passed 12th examination with at least 50% marks from any recognized board, institute, university. Also, the candidate must have done two year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or the candidate must have done four year B.El.Ed course. Or Graduation with two-year Diploma in Elementary Education and passed CTET, BTET examination.
Whereas for teacher from 6th class to 10th class, the candidate must have completed graduation in any subject along with B.Ed degree with at least 45% marks. Whereas for the posts of teacher in class 11th and 12th, the candidate must have master's degree with at least 50% marks and the candidate must have passed the B.Ed examination.
Age Range
For the posts of Primary Teacher, the minimum age of the candidate has been kept at 18 years, while for the posts of TGT and PGT the minimum age of the candidate has been kept at 21 years. The maximum age limit for all posts has been kept at 37 years. Whereas the maximum age limit for women is 40 years. Whereas reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.
Application Fee
General, OBC and other state candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750. Whereas SC, ST and disabled people will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. Whereas women candidates of Bihar will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200.
