There are 78 open positions available for the role of Specialist Grade III in fields like Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Plastic Surgery, and Reconstructive Surgery. Candidates with an MBBS degree, Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the relevant field, or specific specializations like M.D. or M.S. in Anaesthesiology or a Diploma in Anaesthesiology can apply. Applicants should have three to five years of experience in their respective specialties. The age limit for applying to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 is 50 years for SCs/STs, 48 years for OBCs, and 45 years for EWS/URs, with relaxations based on board norms.
The selection process involves Computer Based Shortlisting/Recruitment Test, Interview, etc. Generally, marks in the Recruitment Test hold a 75% weightage, while marks in the interview hold a 25% weightage in determining the final merit. The date for the interview will be communicated separately, and shortlisted candidates need to bring their printed Online Application along with other required documents to UPSC.

UPSC Jobs Eligibility:

Have Three years to Five years of experience in the concerned Specialty to apply for the Job.
UPSC Jobs Age Limit:
The Age Limit to apply for the UPSC Recruitment 2023 is 50 years for SCs/STs, 48 years for OBCs and 45 years for EWS/URs. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the Norms of the Board.
UPSC Jobs Selection Process:
The Candidates are said to be selected through the Computer Based Shortlisting/ Recruitment Test, Interview, etc.
By holding a Recruitment Test – Generally, weightage in the ratio of 75:25 is accorded for marks in Recruitment Test and for marks in interview in determining final merit.
The Date for the Interview on which the Shortlisted Candidates are required to bring the printout of their Online Application Alongwith Other Documents at UPSC shall be intimated separately.
UPSC Jobs Salary:
The Candidates will be offered a Salary of Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA
UPSC Recruitment 2023 Application Fees:
The Candidates need to pay the Application Fees of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five).
Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
The selected candidates will receive a salary at Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC plus NPA. Application fees amount to Rs. 25/-, but females, SC/ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
