CUET PG 2024: These changes in the exam pattern, must read before filling the application form.l



CUET PG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) had started the application process for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate 2024 (CUET PG) on December 26, 2023. Those who have not applied yet can submit their CUET PG 2024 applications online till January 24. To apply, candidates have to visit pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

Let us tell you, according to the official schedule, CUET PG 2024 exam will be conducted from March 11 to March 28 next year. With this, the results will be declared within three weeks of the completion of the examination

This year many important changes have been made in CUET PG. Which includes exam pattern, application fees, master degree programs for selection, exam centers and other information. Let us know about this in detail.

- First of all, let us tell you, the application form of CUET PG was released on cuet.nta.nic.in, but now the application form is hosted on the new website pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

-The number of examination centers within India for CUET PG 2024 has reduced to 300 from 313 centers last year. There has been no change in the number of foreign examination centres. For the upcoming CUET PG 2024, there are 24 exam centers located outside India. Candidates have to select two cities of their choice based on their permanent address or current residence.

This time the application fee for CUET PG 2024 has also been increased. The application fee for all candidates has been increased by Rs 200 compared to last year. General category candidates will now have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200. OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. The fee for additional test paper, which was Rs 500 last year, has been increased to Rs 600 for each additional test paper this year. Whereas international candidates will now have to pay a fee of Rs 6,000 for two tests. Whereas for additional paper, a fee of Rs 2,000 will have to be paid. Let us tell you, earlier these fees were Rs 5,000 and Rs 1,500.

- The time to solve CUET PG exam, which was earlier 2 hours (120 minutes), has now been reduced to 1 hour 45 minutes (105 minutes). This examination will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 10:45 am, the second shift from 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm and the third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm.

- Candidates appearing for CUET PG 2024 exam will have to answer 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Let us tell you, last year a total of 100 questions were asked in the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate. This time the number of questions has been reduced.
