Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced recruitment by issuing a notification to fill 60244 posts of UP Police Constable. According to this notification, the online application process for this recruitment will be started from 27 December 2023 which will continue till 16 January 2024. Interested candidates can fill the online form on these scheduled dates.
With the release of the notification, the new age limit for recruitment has also been determined. The demand for age limit has not been accepted by the state government and general category candidates have not been given relaxation in it.

This recruitment has been done by Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) to fill a total of 60244 vacant posts. Out of these, 24102 posts are reserved for unreserved, 6024 posts for EWS, 16264 posts for Other Backward Classes, 12650 posts for Scheduled Caste, 1204 posts for Scheduled Tribe.
UP Police Vacancy 2024: Maximum age fixed at 22 years for general category
The minimum age for general category candidates has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 22 years by the UP Police Department. That is, the candidate should not have been born before July 2, 2001 and after July 1, 2005.
Similarly, the maximum age for female candidates has been fixed at 25 years. That is, the female candidate should not have been born before July 2, 1998 and after July 1, 2005.
Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates have been given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
UP Police Recruitment 2024: This is the educational qualification
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed 10th and 12th from the board prescribed under law in India or have obtained its equivalent qualification.
Along with this, the minimum height of male candidates coming from General, OBC and Scheduled Caste should be 168 cm and the minimum height of female candidates should be 152 cm, while the minimum height of male candidates coming from Scheduled Tribe category should be 160 cm and the minimum height of female candidates should be 147 cm.
