Candidates who are selected for the post of Parliamentary Reporter in the Lok Sabha Secretariat, according to the notification issued in the year 2020, can be given a salary ranging from Rs 56100 to Rs 177500 in the pay matrix. Selected candidates will be hired in the pay scale of Rs 56100 – 1,77,500.

Candidates are selected only on the basis of shorthand test, written examination and personal interview in Delhi/New Delhi.
Shorthand test has to be given
Shorthand test will be of 100 marks. A candidate will be considered for appointment against the vacancies only in the stream (English/Hindi) in which he qualifies the shorthand test. Only those candidates are called for the written examination who clear the shorthand test.
