Candidates have been waiting for many months for UP Police Constable Recruitment. This recruitment is to be done on a total of 52699 constable posts for which the discussion has already been done. Let us tell the candidates who are preparing for recruitment that according to media reports, a notification can be issued soon by Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). With the release of the notification, the application dates will also be announced by the department, after which the candidates will be able to apply to join this recruitment by applying on the scheduled dates.

Who will be able to apply for constable posts?

Let us tell the candidates who are thinking of applying for UP Police Constable posts that for this they must have passed class 12th/Intermediate from a recognized board.

Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years. The upper age is fixed at 23 years for General Female category and 26 years for General Category female candidates. The maximum age of male candidates of OBC/ST/SC category should not be more than 28 years and the age of female candidates should not be more than 31 years.

Physical Parameters

To participate in this recruitment, it is mandatory for male candidates to be 168 cm tall and female candidates to be 152 cm tall. The minimum height of male candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) category should be 160 centimeters and the minimum height of female candidates should be 147 centimeters. Chest measurement of male candidates should be 79 cms and 84 cms with expansion. Chest measurement of Scheduled Caste candidates should be 77 cm and with expansion it should be 82 cm.

Selection Process

To be selected in this recruitment, candidates will first have to obtain the prescribed cutoff marks in the written examination. Candidates successful in written test will have to appear in PET/PST. Finally the candidates will have to be successful in document verification and medical examination.
